Spencer Bonaventure Tracy (5 Apr 1900 (Milwaukee, Wisconsin - 10 Jun 1967 Beverly Hills, California) was an American actor celebrated for his natural style, versatility, and status as one of Hollywood’s greatest leading men. Active from 1921 to 1967, he appeared in 75 films, won back-to-back Oscars for Captains Courageous and Boys Town, and earned nine nominations. His 25-year partnership with Katharine Hepburn produced nine films, culminating in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, completed shortly before his death. He is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
