Thornton, Summer
Summer Thornton grew up in Norfolk and studied at the Norwich School of Art & Design. After moving to London in 2000, she set up her studio in South London where she began to create her contemporary watercolours. Summer uses watercolour as she likes its unpredictable nature and the element of freedom and richness that it adds to her work, especially when the colours flow into one another.
