Simon Taylor paints sporting subjects in a bold style. He is fascinated by painting areas of flat colour which from a distance give the illusion of detail, three dimensional forms and movement. His use of simple shapes and colours in the background of his work enhance the iconic nature of his paintings. A number of cyclists own original works by Simon including Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal.
