Kenneth Gilbert More (20 Sep 1914 (Gerrards Cross - 12 Jul 1982 Fulham, London) was an English stage, film, and television actor best known as Britain’s top 1950s star, noted for his affable charm and emotional range in both comedy and drama. Rising to fame in Genevieve (1953) and Doctor in the House (1954), he won acclaim for serious roles in The Deep Blue Sea and as Douglas Bader in Reach for the Sky. His later career included A Night to Remember, Sink the Bismarck! and TV’s The Forsyte Saga. He is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
