Maureen Paula O'Sullivan (17 May 1911 Boyle, County Roscommon - 23 Jun 1998 Scottsdale, Arizona) was an Irish-American actress best known for playing Jane Parker opposite Johnny Weissmuller in six MGM Tarzan films (1932–1942). Over a career spanning six decades, she appeared in over 60 films, including The Thin Man, Anna Karenina, Pride and Prejudice, Hannah and Her Sisters, and Peggy Sue Got Married. She also had a notable Broadway career, was mother to actress Mia Farrow, and received the George Eastman Award for her contributions to film. She is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
