Saw follows two strangers who awaken chained in a filthy bathroom, forced into a twisted survival game by the mysterious Jigsaw Killer. As they race against time, clues and flashbacks reveal the tormentor’s dark philosophy. Known for its claustrophobic tension, inventive premise, and shocking twists, it became a horror landmark with strong performances and smart direction, though its graphic intensity divided critics.
