Vincent Leonard Price Jr. (27 May 1911 St. Louis - 25 Oct 1993 Los Angeles) was an American actor, art historian, and gourmet cook famed for his suave, menacing performances in horror films, notably House of Wax, The Fly, and Roger Corman’s Edgar Allan Poe adaptations. Over five decades, he appeared in more than 100 films, stage, radio, and TV, including Batman’s Egghead. A dedicated art collector, he founded the Vincent Price Art Museum, authored cookbooks, and voiced Michael Jackson’s Thriller. He is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
