Tony Curtis (,3 Jun 1925 (New York City - 29 Sep 2010 Henderson, Nevada) born Bernard Schwartz, was an American actor whose six-decade career peaked in the 1950s and early 1960s. Known for his versatility, he earned an Oscar nomination for The Defiant Ones (1958) and starred in classics like Some Like It Hot, Sweet Smell of Success, Spartacus, and The Boston Strangler. Married six times, he was father to six children, including Jamie Lee Curtis. Later he painted and made TV appearances. He is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
