Jean Harlow (3 Mar 1911 Kansas City, Missouri - 7 Jun 1937 Los Angeles) was an American actress and 1930s sex symbol known as the “Blonde Bombshell” and “Platinum Blonde.” A defining pre-Code star, she rose to fame in Howard Hughes’s Hell’s Angels (1930) and became a top box office draw at MGM with hits like Red Dust, Dinner at Eight, and Libeled Lady. Celebrated for her comedic talent and glamour, she died tragically at 26 during filming of Saratoga, cementing her Hollywood legend.She is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
