Anne Bancroft, (17 Sep 1931 The Bronx - 6 Jun 2005 New York City), was an American actress acclaimed for her versatility and depth, achieving the Triple Crown of Acting with an Oscar, two Tonys, and two Emmys. She won the Academy Award for portraying Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker (1962) and earned further acclaim as Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate (1967). Her career spanned stage, screen, and television, and she was married to Mel Brooks until her death in 2005.. She is part of the golden age of Hollywood and the silver screen series of photographs.
