Modern artist Henri Émile Benoît Matisse was a French visual artist, known for both his use of colour and his fluid and original draughtsmanship. This tall, thin image shows a variety of vegetables mainly in green, orange and yellow with a changing background of bright colours. Individual vegetables perhaps include a leek and a pepper.
