Pop artist Andy Warhol explored the themes of fame and celebrity throughout his life. He created paintings and prints of many celebrities such as Debbie Harry, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley. After President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in November 1963, Warhol debuted an enormous series of silk screens called Jackie in 1964.
