German photographer Hans Gohler changed his name to John Gay when he settled in Yorkshire England and established himself as a professional photographer often producing portraits of literary personalities. His archive includes this photograph of poet Dylan Thomas who was also a regular broadcaster and scriptwriter for the BBC.
