Image Size: 71cm x 102cm

Modern artist Jackson Pollock was a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement. Pollock was widely noticed for his "drip technique" of pouring or splashing liquid household paint onto a horizontal surface. Pollock painted ‘Convergence’ in 1952, beginning only with black and white paint. Not satisfied, the artist added bursts of colour to salvage the piece. The resulting artwork became one of Pollock’s most famous paintings.
