Ocean liners like this, sometimes referred to as ‘floating palaces’, were the height of 1920s and 1930s luxury travel. French-Ukranian graphic designer A.M. Cassandre (1901–1968) was fascinated by the beauty of these machines. Cinematic and stylistically reductive, this reproduction of the original 1931 Côte d'Azur poster is a quintessential Art Deco design.
