Edwin John Victor Pasmore, CH, CBE (1908 to 1998) was a British artist and architect who pioneered the development of abstract art in Britain in the 1940s and 1950s.
His break into abstract art was inspired by artists Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee. He pioneered the use of new materials on a large architectural scale often working in collage and construction reliefs. His muted green and blue works were some of the most revolutionary paintings in Britain at the time. To view some of his work Click Here.
